loire reflections

Strolling beside the Loire river, I got caught up in the mesmerizing flow, the cooling temperature, the innumerable reflections, and the changing angles of natural light.

The French countryside conveys a quality of softness that I haven't experienced in any other country I've visited.
I felt that playing with an abstracted version of pointillism - utilizing multi-layered larger dabs of color - would best express that soft feel.
