Hillsides covered in delightful patches of wildflower color awaken my senses on many levels, reminding me that true beauty lies in the essence of life and its majestic variety.

The French countryside conveys a quality of softness that I haven't experienced in any other country I've visited.
I felt that playing with an abstracted version of pointillism - utilizing multi-layered larger dabs of color - would best express that soft feel.
